Draft Resource Consent Received

The Waikato Regional Council has produced a draft consent notice for the Pauanui to Duck Creek section of the Pauanui to Tairua Trail.

The Trail Committee has examined the draft and has made some minor suggestions for changes.

Committee Chairman Gary Fowler says the draft is a major development, but stresses it only covers the Trail to Duck Creek.

He expects formal consent to come quite quickly.

Asked when he expects the Pauanui to Duck Creek stage of the trail to be complete he says, with a smile, by Christmas!
