Loop Trail Work Begins

Work is progressing on the Loop section of the  Pauanui to Tairua Trail.

When complete, this section of Trail will open up a link between Tangitarori  Lane and the bridge over the Tangitarori Canal.

Trail boss Gary Fowler says this is another important move toward Trail completion.

The section is known as the Loop Trail because it avoids an eroded area of the original Pauanui boardwalk but still allows a return to Tangitarori Lane  using care along the old route.
