Trail Opening Date Announced

The official opening date for the Tangitarori to Duck Creek stage of the Pauanui to Tairua Trail is set for December 28.

A festive atmosphere is planned with refreshments available and certificates for those using the trail after the official opening. The certificates will cost five dollars which will be a donation to the Trail fund.

The ceremony will begin at 10am  at the Tangitarori end of the Trail with TCDC Deputy Mayor Peter French opening the Trail. Coromandel MP Scott Simpson will also say a few words.

So come along, ride or walk the Trail and discover what a worthwhile and amazing project the Trail has become.
